We don’t have 50 motel rooms full of people. What we do offer is “Quiet”, “Tranquility” and “a little piece of heaven”. These are comments left by guests of Shelly’s Cottages.

Shelly’s Cottages has 9 cottages so we can offer that intimate setting your looking for. We are an adult only resort meaning no children under 13 years. We do this because we want to cater to those looking for a quiet, hot tub, mountain getaway. We are not an adult only resort because we don’t like children; we just feel that adults need a little time away from the stress of everyday life. Get away from the kids. Get away from the boss and the stresses of work. Get away from the tourist crowd in Estes Park.

Are you still looking for that perfect place to go on vacation? Do you want the entire family to have fun, but don’t want to deal with the crowds? Then try The Home Ranch! We are located in Northwest Colorado, far from the crowds. We offer lodge rooms and private cabins that can accommodate your whole family.

Our winter season runs December 17th thru March 30th. We offer cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, winter horseback riding and sleigh rides. If you are interested in downhill skiing we can drop you off at the base with a sack lunch from the Chefs and pick you up later.

Our summer season starts June 8th and continues throughout the summer. Our dude ranch has many things to offer - great horseback riding, unforgettable hiking, gourmet food, fantastic fishing, and family fun.
