Mason Dixon Dragway, is a 1/4 mile N.H.R.A. Drag strip located in central Maryland. The racing season runs from March thru November with Championship Drag Racing

Chuck and Joy Hanson invite you to stay in their charming 162-year old Mason House Inn Bed & Breakfast located in historic Bentonsport, Iowa. This antique hotel was built in 1846 by Mormon craftsmen coming from Nauvoo, Illinois, as a hotel for the steamboat travelers. It is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Des Moines River. (Bentonsport is one of the Villages of Van Buren County that were among Southeast Iowa's very first settlements.)

A full country breakfast is served in the 40 foot dining room at the time of your choice. Please let Joy know if you have any dietary restrictions. She will be happy to adjust the menu accordingly.

"There is a cookie jar in every room." And, as some of our taller guests will attest, comfortable beds that are of adequate 21st Century size. We feature King, Queen, and Extra-long double beds. Some rooms also include a twin bed or two for families. And all rooms have free wireless internet access, just ask us for the password.

Our Caboose Cottage is in a real railroad caboose from the Roscoe, Snyder & Pacific Railway line from Texas. It features a queen-size bed, satellite TV with DVD player, free wireless internet access, a dining area, full kitchen and private bathroom with shower. Come to the Main house dining room for breakfast with the other guests. A great, fun place to stay for train enthusiasts of all ages.

Ideal location for retreats, seminars, reunions, honeymoons, wedding groups, church groups, Murder Mysteries, quilting retreats, book club retreats, weekend get-aways, and anytime you want to 'get away from it all'.

We urge you to inquire and make your reservations early, as we have only nine rooms (each with its own private bath). We are OPEN ALL YEAR. All three of our cabins are right on the river and have a hot tub, river rock fireplace and river views. However, the cabins vary widely so that we can offer these pleasures for any budget.
River's Nest
Our best cabin, the River's Edge, has 3 bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, great river and mountain views from almost every room and the finest appliances. It is widely believed among our staff to be the nicest cabin on the mountain.
River's Hideaway
The rustic River's Nest cabin has two bedrooms, river views from the living room, spa and a bedroom, vaulted ceilings and the finest appliances. One of the bedrooms is an outside gezebo, sitting right on the river bank. Such a pleasant sound for sleeping.

Our least expensive offering is the River's Hideaway cabin, a rustic one bedroom with a view of the river from the kitchen. Appliances range from good to great.

There are lots of things to do on Mt Hood within a few minutes of the cabins. Skiing, golf, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and much more. Please see details under activities.

If you prefer to be higher up the mountain, we also have two condo units right across the highway from Ski Bowl with community fireplace, swimming pool and pool table.

Some activities in the region are boating, swimming, water skiing, horseback riding, golfing, bowling, and a Tramway with a vertical rise of some 3800 feet. The ride takes passengers to the alpine meadows of Mt. Howard where an unsurpassed view of the mountains of the “Little Switzerland of America” will greet your eyes! The Wallowa Lake Tramway is located just across the street from us. Activities such as miniature golf, go carts, and horseback riding are within walking distance.
